A Post Script To The Previous Blog--by Laurie Whyman

Summary: Making sure that I "practiced what I preached", I changed my CV workout to the one described in

I just would like to add a P.S. to the previous blog, I changed my cardio-vascular workout from "the conventional one" that I had been doing to the 30 second high intensity followed by a minuet taking it easy workout as described in the previous blog, and noticed immediately that my heart rate could be raised to the CV zone much quicker, I had obviously reached a fitness plateau, and although I was increasing the load on the machines, I was not actually achieving very much. The benefit of this new way of exercising is that as your fitness improves, you keep on pushing yourself to burn fat,whereas the old method your fitness level tends to stagnate, even though you are putting in time and effort.
If you don't seem to be achieving an effective weight loss with your exercise regime, give this method a try, you will be pleased with the results.
