The Brits favourite take-away is now Indian food, but apart from the delicious taste, it seems that one of the main ingredients in curry---TURMERIC --- contains an anti-inflamatory agent called curcumin, which is beneficial in easing the symptoms of sport related injuries such as tennis and golf elbow.
The research also shows it helps to ease the swelling due to tendonitis (the swelling of the tissues joining muscles and bones)
The study by Nottingham University concluded that curry could give scientists a lead on the treatment of these unpleasant conditions.
